Along the way, Laura went from creating in watercolor, scratchboard and ink to becoming almost exclusively digital in her illustration technique. Her methods have been featured in SBS Digital Design and she enjoys passing along her knowledge to art students in her hometown of Atlanta, GA. Laura has lectured at The Art Institute of Atlanta, Atlanta College of Art and her alma mater, Auburn University.

Although, she considers herself to be a semi-geek, the reigning computer guru in her world is her husband Clayton, an Architect and Photoshop expert. They actually met when Laura sought him out for some HTML advice. Both are also musicians and can be found playing music around Atlanta, Laura as a singer in a jazz combo and Clayton as guitarist in a local blues band.

This will be Laura’s first foray into online teaching and she couldn’t be more excited to introduce Adobe Illustrator to digital crafters and artists in a way that will inspire them to bring their own designs to life.
