Are you busy? I mean legitimately busy? Do you constantly make excuses why you don’t have time for your creativity? If you are really honest with yourself, busyness is often motivated by fear which stops us from getting down to the business of creating in the first place. I admit I have had to have a few meetings with myself about my busyness. Instead of doing what I loved, I had given more meaning to being busy than being creative. In one of the “meetings with myself”, I discovered the project I was working on had lost its meaningfulness. I had become so absorbed in the project, I did not know how to let it go and just start over. (more…)
