Hipstamatic’s latest update (released March 21) expands the popular vintage photo app’s sharing capabilities and makes it easier than ever to tag your work. We gave it a try and it worked beautifully.

When you view a Hipstamatic print (including shots you’ve taken in the past), click the share icon at the upper right to access new sharing options. Here, you can write a comment and choose different places to share (such as Instagram and Facebook).

Share your work to Instagram, and it’s automatically posted to your feed, skipping Instagram’s filter options but keeping the Hipstamatic border intact. As a bonus, it automatically hashtags the image with the lens, film, and flash you used.

You can also tag friends directly when sharing to Facebook. Share the Hipsta love!
